First Day of Filming and Editing

for the first day of shooting I am doing the shots of the opening sequence as no actors are required and i dont have to waste their time on set shooting things when they aren't in the shot. I got shots of a stationary car and some of a road and cars passing. I got this by pointing the camera out of my bedroom window. The shots are all out of focus to give a dreamy feel to them and set a moody tone to the film. I did this by putting my camera into manual mode and setting the focus.

After shooting my footage I imported it into my computer out it into Adobe Premiere, as this is the software used at school. I then proceeded to edit the shots together with the title cards and the chosen music (I ended up using Joga by Bjork). I have also kept the project tidy by setting up my caches properly and importing into the right folders. Inside the Premiere project i have everything organised so its easier to find.
